We've been married for...
Bob and Ronda have been married for over 30 years. They are genuine people who have weathered many storms in their marriage such as being unequally yoked in their faith, facing control issues, sacrificing their family for career promotions, suffering the consequences that resulted from dad continually traveling for business while mom stayed home to raise the children.
They also faced money issues, unforgiveness, being incompatible based on personality assessments, and living with generational curses such as divorce, rejection, fear of failure and depression. Their marriage took a turn for the better when Bob became a Christian as they began valuing their marriage covenant and placed God in the center of their relationship.
Through their own personal relationship with God, they learned to use powerful keys like thankfulness, forgiveness, and grace to strengthen their relationship. Bob and Ronda began serving on their local church’s marriage ministry team sharing their testimony, troubleshooting for couples experiencing marital issues and teaching premarital classes. It was evident to them that God’s design for marriage was becoming endangered and that divorce had become the popular option for couples who were struggling in their relationship. They attended a yearlong global ministry school together where God placed it on their hearts to help restore marriage as a covenant with the Godhead at the center of the relationship.
The basis of the ministry are the truths found in Ecclesiastes 4:12 with the need to God as the source of strength within the covenant of marriage. “And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him - a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” In the Garden where the first marriage began, Adam and Eve walked in harmony with each other as they placed God in the center of their relationship. forming a cord of three strands that could not easily be broken. Unfortunately, we know the rest of the story. Adam and Eve chose to remove God from the center of their marriage and their covenant relationship fell out of harmony. Cords of Harmony aligns with God’s original design of the marriage covenant placing the Godhead as the couple’s source of strength which brings harmony into their relationship. Bob and Ronda desire to create a culture where men and women enter into the oneness of marriage spiritually, emotionally and physically strong. They are committed to providing personalized coaching to couples by empowering them with the necessary tools to transform their existing relationship into a thriving marriage.
